Hello,
Just wondering how to get the following to work:
Say I input the number 1 in cell A1 and then in Cell B1 I insert the formula : A1+1
And then I wish to copy the formula contained in B1 to a range of cells to the right (say from C1 to F1). If I use the copy function on B1 and then paste (while selecting the formula Icon to paste only the formula content) on the range C1 to F1, Planmaker only copies the content to C1 and not the full range (C1 to F1).
Just wondering what I have to change in my configurations to get it to paste on the full range selected (C1 to F1)?
I'm using PlanMaker NX Home (rev S1500.0712) 64 bit.
Cheers,
copying/pasting a formula
Re: copying/pasting a formula
Not exactly what you want get with PlanMaker NX 2026?

ChipTunes etc... is my public playlist for Spotify (a truncated version is on Deezer also) with nearly 2100 titles and over 125 hours of listening, go to: open.spotify.com/playlist/1juVxm3beomqM38isNZRIj
Re: copying/pasting a formula
Indeed it does paste properly when the shortcut "Paste" icon is selected. However, if you select the "Paste formula" it does not work; it only copies the formula to A3 and not to the full range selected (say A3 to A7), at least in the french version running on my LinuxMint computer.
Thanks for your response.

I know, that's why I wrote: "Not exactly what you want to get with PlanMaker NX 2026". Is what you wanted to do or achieve?

Re: copying/pasting a formula
Thank you for the detailed description, and to bernado82 for helping pin down the behaviour.
Confirmed: up to and including S1500, "Paste formula" writes only into the first cell of the target range instead of filling the entire selection.
This has already been fixed on our side and will be included in S1502, so it will work as expected once the next update is available.

Re: copying/pasting a formula
Thanks for the upcoming correction. I assume that the behavior for "Paste value and format" as well as the other paste icons has been verified/corrected as well ?
Cheers.
Cheers.
