The cursor in Presentations on Linux is black even when the colour theme is also black - so isn't visible.
(This has been for in previous releases too - it'd be great to see it fixed. The equivalent happens in the other apps too, I think, but doesn't occur so often.)
Black cursor on black background
Re: Black cursor on black background
Thank you for your post. Please share a screenshot of the application for a better understanding.
On some Linux distributions, the cursor is black by default with a bright white outline, which remains visible in dark mode as well — this applies to all applications, not just SoftMaker Office.
In that case, you can check other applications and customize your mouse cursor at the operating system level.

Re: Black cursor on black background
Ah, apologies - I meant the text cursor, not the mouse cursor. This has I think been the case for at least the last 3 major SoftMaker releases on Linux, across a few distributions and desktop environments.
Screenshots attached, though they're not very exciting - with a white theme you can see the text cursor after "Hello!" (it blinks of course); with the black theme you can't ever see it. On other-colour themes the cursor remains black, so I guess it's invisible here for the same reason.

Re: Black cursor on black background
Regarding the black background, I can reproduce the issue and have forwarded the details for further investigation.
