File | Send command always opens Apple Mail
File | Send command always opens Apple Mail
When a different email client is defined as default in Apple Mail; it is not recognized by SoftMaker Office. Apple Mail always opens with the document attached to a new email message. Using Settings | System | External Applications to define a different mail client does nothing.

You can change the default email client by opening Apple Mail and navigating to "Mail > Settings > General". From there, select your preferred application in the "Default email reader" dropdown menu.
If the email client you select is not functioning correctly with our apps, please let us know which one you are using so our team can investigate.

What you said I should do, I did do in the first sentence of my post
The email client in question was MailMaven.
eM Client was defined as default in Apple Mail, and nothing happened when I pressed File | Send in PlanMaker with eM Client off. When I had Apple Mail and eM Client on, the mail with the attachment was created in Apple Mail.
