Beta software replaces original NX software

I was a little surprised to find that the Beta software has overwritten my original licenced NX software. Perhaps I was naive in assuming that the beta version would run alongside the original licenced version. I realised that, after installing the beta, my shortcuts to NX Textmaker, Planmaker and Presentations had become greyed out and when I looked in Windows-Program Files- Softmaker NX, I found that the original files had been overwritten by versions with the date of installation of the Beta version.

What will happen when the Beta becomes the main stream - will I be able to download the final NX version and install it using my existing licence install code?

#1 When you install the beta, any SoftMaker Office NX already installed will be uninstalled. If you also want to work alternatingly with the "old" NX version, you should first copy its folder (usually C:\Program Files\SoftMaker Office NX) and start the old Office applications from there. However, you can also simply switch to the new version completely. If you want to leave the beta test and revert to the old version, simply install the old NX version from our website. This was mentioned on our initial beta invite.

#2 When the new NX gets released you will be able to use your existing NX product key there.
