Beta issues

Dear SoftMaker team,

I have one presentation (.pptx) that can no longer be opened using beta software. It was created with Microsoft Powerpoint and was successfully opened and modified with the last stable release of Presentations NX. Presentation NX beta is completely unresponsive after the initial loading of the file (I have to kill the process). I can share it to you (> 10Mo file) as I do not have a clue on the issue . The file can be opened without troubles on Powerpoint, OnlyOffice or LibreOffice.

2nd issue : when opening an existing document, i am unable to scroll between slides on the left side panel (the panel is always coming back to the first slide), unless some loading of all the slides is performed, that can be long on documents with more than 40-50 slides.

I'm on Fedora 42, rpm package.

Thanks for your quick reply, I have just send the problematic file by mail.
The second issue is not linked to a specific document and have been observed with all presentations.

A follow-up of my first post after the installation of the 2nd beta build :
- the problematic pptx can now be opened without issues
- the impossible scroll in the left panel until all slides are loaded is still present.

I am unable to reproduce this second issue as I tried it with a sample 128 slides presentation, and I am able to scroll even when it was in loading phase.

Please check the screen recording for your reference.

Here is a screen recording showing the issue. As you can see, i took almost 30s to be able to scroll without coming back to the first slide.
You can see that the picture on the first slide is not loading until the issue stops.
I tried to remove the first picture but without effect.

I can share the file (private) if needed, but it happens with all my presentations.

Thank you for the file. While I cannot reproduce the exact problem, I observed a slight 2-second delay upon initial scrolling, which is considered normal.

Since your experience may differ, the most likely cause is system load. Please check your running background services and overall system performance to identify any potential resource constraints.
