getting started key

I just downloaded Freeoffice a couple of days ago. Apparently I am supposed
to get a product key to continue using the software after 10 days. When I
tried to get the key, I got a message saying my email was invalid--even
thoug it was on the screen. Do I need this key to continue the freeversion?
If so, why does SoftMaker not recognized my email since it obviously is
in system systems? Please advise.
