Adding sound to a presentation

I am struggling to add sound to a slide show. I used an MP4 file and added it to the show and add play across all slides. But when I play the show, it starts the music but when the slide changes, it stops and starts again on the next slid. How do I get the sound to play continuously for the duration of the sound track?

Thank you for posting your problem, but MP4 file format is used for videos and not for sound. So, please use any sound file like MP3/ WAV etc. and then check.
