Several issues in an ODT document

Post by ArnaudK »

Hi !

In the attached document, I noticed several issues compared to LibreOffice:
"parler de taroutine" instead of "parler de ta routine"
"She goesto school by bus" instead of "She goes to school by bus"
"He doeshis homework after breakfast." instead of "He does his homework after breakfast."
" He studiesEnglish" instead of " He studies English"
"He getsup at 7.15" instead of "He gets up at 7.15"

There are also errors in alignment / margin space for the 3 titles.

The links at the bottom also disappeared.

I will check if theses errors also appear in MS Word.

Could you please fix these issues ?

Update: All the errors encountered in Textmaker 2021 are not visible in MS Office 365. This is definitely a Textmaker issue.

Only the links at the bottom don't appear in MS Word 365, could be here a bad interpretation of link feature by LibreOffice, to be investigated.

Textmaker invents a style which is not there, encloses the chosen text-portion in style-tags and removes the white-space in the proces...

A nice addition to the XML-handling difficulties, which I already described for Office 2018 and here, too: https://forum.softmaker.com/viewtopic.p ... 738#p66738

Whoever you gave the ODT work to, re-think your decision.

Edit: As a general hint, maybe look into the xml:text tag and its possible uses for white-space handling. Although it may not be the pertinent solution in all cases.

Merci Arnaud, c'est toujours distrayant...

Latest hotfix fixed most of the issues. The last minor glitch is: the links at the bottom of the page are not in blue color (Libreoffice does). It means we cannot see easily that they are links.

You can easily compare the rendering between LibreOffice and TM2021.
