Error opening C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\FileName

Post by anuenke »

I have many school files on my computer, but then when I tried to load them, this error came up.
I looked at the file chain myself, and they're not there.
Where did they go, and is there any way to restore my files?

I wonder if you installed the recent Windows 10 feature update? It was supposed to back up all your files to MS Onedrive, but some people found that it had simply deleted all their files. If this is the case I do not know how you get your files back.

I do not believe I installed the update, but I had been getting notifications about it. I didn't confirm the install of the update either, but it may have installed on it's own. However, when I shut down the time before the files were gone, I hadn't seen anything about an update, nor when I started up the computer again. I'll probably just redo the assignments though.
