Multiple Norwegian spelling locale bugs

• Bug: Norwegian bokmål hunspell dictionaries does not work after install and restart. The built-in dictionary for bokmål does work, but the hunspell dictionaries seems to be better, i.e. it recognises more words (when you get it to work).
• Bug: Norwegian nynorsk hunspell does not work, and is not available built-in.

After installing bokmål dictionary, dict.ini file contains: SupportedLocales=nn-NO

• There are three languages in Norway: bokmål (nb-NO), nynorsk (nn-NO), and sami (se-NO). Only se-NO is recognised by SoftMaker!
• The configured nn-NO locale is wrong for Norwegian bokmål: it should be nb-NO. However, nb-NO does not work as mentioned, but no-NO does, and reports as Norwegian bokmål when used.
• no-NO is a legacy locale that should be renamed to nb-NO. nn-NO must be added.

As a workaround one can set SupportedLocales to no-NO and se-NO for bokmål and nynorsk respectively instead of the correct nb-NO and nn-NO, but it is not portable and inconvenient to mark text as sami instead of nynorsk.

PS: for the built in dictionary, there is inconsistency with filenames: norway.hyn vs norwegian.dic - all other languages uses same base name for .hyn and .dic files.

This is not a bug. We offer only a bokmål dictionary and no Norwegian nynorsk dictionary. You can add the Hunspell dictionary for Norwegian nynorsk.

I can confirm that the Norwegian Hunspell dictionaries are not working and will inform the developers.

Thanks, I think this has been a long standing issue. Nynorsk class in school is obligatory and the grade counts. Only 12% uses it as their main written language, so many struggle with it.

The issue has been solved and should no longer occur with the next service pack.
