Two much white space at top of page with Canon MX922 printer

Post by wilkenw » Thu Dec 28, 2017 5:48 pm

I have installed both Textmaker 2016 and the beta for Textmaker 2018 on my desktop computer that runs under Ubuntu 16.04 with all the latest system updates. No matter software I use to create a .docx or .tmd file, when I attempt to print the document to my Canon MX922 printer , there is always about one-half inch too much white space at the top of the page. I can print the same .docx file with LibreOffice to the MX922 without a similar problem. And to add to the mystery, Textmaker 2016 prints the page perfectly to my old HP1200 LaserJet.

So the print issue happens with TextMaker 2016 and 1018 n the same machine with the Canon printer? And on the same machine it works properly with LibreOffice Writer? Are you using CUPS to print?
