CPU usage in the background

Hello,

Why is that this app - even without an opened file - steadily uses the CPU in the background?
On my new Sony Xperia X Compact it is around ~0.28% and on my old Huawei Ascend P1 it is ~1.87%.

(edit: I can observe the like behavior on Linux with the desktop version, ~0.20% [or ~0.76% - depends on qps configuration])
