Softmaker and 64-bit

I really wish that Softmaker would get 64-bit Linux versions of Softmaker Office out of the door. I understand how this might be quite a programming challenge, but it really makes life much better for us Linux users.

We already offer an .deb archive of SoftMaker Office 2010 for Linux only for 64 bit systems (suitable for Debian 64 bit, Ubuntu 64 bit etc.). Internally, this is still the 32 bit version, but it is packaged so that all dependencies for 32 bit on 64 bit are automatically resolved.

No, this needs an Debian based Linux. Open Suse needs either an rpm package or an tgz archive, which we both offer in 32bit versions.

Office 2010 already works properly in Windows 7 and vista 64 bit and in 64 bit Debian/Ubuntu Linux. An 64bit rpm (Fedora) installer and native 64bit .exe files for 64bit Windows are on our agenda for future versions.
