TextMaker for Mac?

I know there was a poll on this recently, but I seem to have lost the link to it. I just switched from a Linux implementation to Mac OS X (it's a long story, but having someone offer me a loaded 17" PowerBook G4 was just too good to pass up). What I'm missing is a decent word processor, and I don't want to pay the outrageous amount for the MS suite.

Since OS X is based on BSD, I hope it would not be difficult to port TM to it. Are there other people out there who would like to see this port? Can anyone point me to the poll results?

Currently we try to find out how much work it would be to port TextMaker to the Mac, but at the moment we cannot say for sure if we will port it.

Thanks for the info. I hope you'll be able to port it, since there doesn't seem to be a comparable product available at the moment. I've been playing with MS-Word on the Mac, and it's a real pain.

I'm looking forward to paying you folks for a Mac version.
