Weird folder containing all folders and files on my Desktop

A weird folder has appeared on my Windows 10 Desktop containing (duplicating?) all folders and files on my Desktop. If I delete a folder or file within this weird folder, the same folder and file also disappears from my Desktop. So should I delete this weird folder by accident, the whole Desktop with all its folders and files will also be deleted. Any idea how I can remove this weird folder without losing all my folders & files?
