BasicMaker functions to control TextMaker Guides

I have created a script to create a document to create a book cover. The size of the document is calculated by the number of pages of the intended book block. I would like to have the script place guides (accessible in TextMaker ribbon in View / View / Grid and Guides) in the appropriate positions as well, but cannot find any reference to TextMaker Guides in the BasicMaker documentation.

The only way to do it seems to be to make elaborate use of SendKeys, but I'm not sure I can be bothered with that... Can anyone more skilled in BasicMaker make any better suggestions?
