11 iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard Screen Problem

On my 11” iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard the issue where the bottom of the screen pops up (I noted this in the beta chat) has gotten worse. This is in the .0705 version just released. It use to be that only about a 1/2” was being taken up, now it’s fully half the screen.

I tried this on my 12.9” iPad Pro with a Logi Folio keyboard and it seems ok.

This can be mitigated by going to Tools | Options and then going to the System tab. From there unselect the Show/Hide Keyboard Automatically checkbox. This will then put a coral colored round keyboard icon in the lower right of the screen. If you click on that, it will shrink the area back to normal. You will need to do this everytime you start up TextMaker.

Thanks for reporting this problem, but we are unable to reproduce it. Please uninstall all three apps and then install the latest version from Apple app store.

If this problem still persist, please share your sminfo.txt file, which you can generate using '?' Help > About > Write system information.

Meanwhile, I have forwarded the details to our developer team.

Reloaded all the apps and it still does it.

My iPad is an iPad Pro 11 (M1 Version) with a Magic Keyboard.

This only happens if the iPad is attached to the keyboard.
