Free Office messing up my terminal

So I installed Free Office the other day after a new install of Ubuntu MATE 21.04 and I noticed afterwards that my terminal is opening in usr/share/freeoffice2021 every time instead of where it is supposed to, when I uninstall it it goes away, I'm assuming this is some sort of bug/ configuration issue, and has not seemed to create any issues, just is quite annoying

Thanks for reporting this problem. Please let us know how you are opening the terminal. Also, please share a screenshot of the issue.

I am just opening up the terminal from the applications menu, it is like there is something setting the mentioned folder as the default opening place, I'll try to get a screenshot uploaded soon, it also does it in any folder that I try to open the terminal in

I restarted the computer and the terminal didn't open in that folder however after I started Textmaker it started doing it again

It also goes away if I log out and back in, but as soon as one of the softmaker apps are started all terminals open in the folder shown in the screenshot

Please follow these steps and share the result:

1. Uninstall FreeOffice 2021 completely.
2. Rename SoftMaker folder.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Download and install FreeOffice 2021 from our website.
5. Try to check this problem again.

I just tried that, exact same results, I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling it before this time, however it didn't change anything, it quit when I uninstalled it and started again after it was reinstalled and one of the applications was opened, honestly I have no idea why, it's not changing anything in the desktop file or anything

I am unable to reproduce this problem with Ubuntu MATE 21.10. It seems there is some operating system level issue. Please check if you are facing this problem with another computer also or same computer with any other applications.
