Where are files saved?

When I save the file I created, where is it stored? No matter where I select, it is saved under another program's name. When I click on the file I have saved in your software, it is opened with the other program. How can I get your program to open the file that I have created in your program? Where is it?

The file will be saved in the same location/folder which you selected.

It seems your file is associated with that other software. To solve this problem, please follow these steps:
1. Right-click on that file and then select Open with > Other.
2. Select TextMaker from the list.
3. Check the option “Always open with”.
4. Click on the open button.

Next time onwards, whenever you will open this file, it will open with TextMaker by default.
