Adding Dollar Signs to Cells in a Table

In Libreoffice, there was a way to format a given cell so that if a number were entered, a dollar sign (or currency indicator) would automatically be added, but wouldn't appear until an amount was entered. Using Softmaker's instruction manual, I can't figure out how to do this in Softmaker...

If you are talking about PlanMaker, this can be achieved via Format > Cell > Currency.
