Textmaker in Plasma

I've introduced my daughter to Textmaker since she's started college. Libreoffice's compatibility with Word just wasn't cutting it. Anyway, she's an OCD scientist in the making.

We've noticed that when she opens a preexisting document from the desktop or file manager (with the open in separate windows option checked) in a Workspace or Activity other than where Softmaker was initially started and is still running, Softmaker always kicks her back to the Plasma Workspace/Activity where Textmaker was initially started (and is still running). It happens when she closes the document as well. It's not a deal breaker, but it does appear to be a bug and is triggering her OCD.

She's using Kubuntu 20.04.

* Edit: This doesn't happen with Libreoffice, by the way, so it's not clear that Plasma is causing this.

You can try this, move the TextMaker to the place where you always want it, close it there and then try to open the file again to check if that solves your problem.
