Pressing the Command key breaks selection

Post by spira_post »

If I select a few cells and want to hit CMD-C or CMD-X to copy/cut, the moment I press CMD the selection is broken and I will end up copying/cutting a single cell.
WORKAROUND is to use ctrl-C or ctrl-X (which shouldn't work, since I'm on a Mac.)

CMD-V to Paste seems to work fine.

It's also a problem if I want to select groups of cells that are not connected. For example, if I already selected A1:C5 and want to add K1:P5 to my selection, I would normally hold CMD before dragging from K1 to P5, but now it will break my A1:C5 selection.
WORKAROUND is to hold CMD before making the first selection (A1:C5 in this case), keep holding it and then select K1:P5. Holding Ctrl to replace CMD does not work in this instance.

I asked a colleague to test it and it works fine on his side. It may be a problem with my keyboard as when I use the right CMD key instead of the left CMD key, I don't have this same issue.
