In column A of a spreadsheet is a list of stock symbols in alphabetic order. From time to time, I add a new stock symbol at the bottom of the list. For each listing in column A, there are entries for many columns. When I add a new symbol at the bottom, the alphabetic order is lost. Is there a function or macro I can apply to the spreadsheet to re-sort the rows by sorting on column A alphabetically after I add new symbols?
What about SortM or SortV?
Formula for dates
Re: Formula for dates
You can try to do it in BasicMaker.
The function SORT() would be ideal, but we haven't had the time to implement it yet.

Re: Formula for dates
You can also select your column and click the icon "Home | Sort", you probably already know that.
