I will never need TextMaker to apply auto-hyphenation to my text documents and would therefore like to disable it permanently. However, despite turning it off via 'Options/Language/Hyphenation/Use automatic hyphenation', it always gets turned on again the next time I start a new document.
Reloading saved documents which had the feature turned off retains the correct setting - so I am guessing that this is handled per-document rather than globally. Is there a way to set the default state of this feature to 'off' so I don't have to keep changing it when I start a new document?
How to permanently turn off Auto-Hyphenation?

Brilliant - thank you!
