Feature Request: Multi-Tab Tools

It would be nice if, when I have multiple documents in tabs, I could have search works across all the documents and get combines stats for all the documents. In many cases, these separate files opened in tabs are destined to become part of the same document so it makes sense to be able to search across all of them and to see things like the total word count as well as the individual word counts.
