Any support for PDF/X-3 yet?

A couple of years ago I asked about support for the PDF/X-3 format, required by some book publishing companies. Is there any support for this yet? This is the only thing that keeps me using an ancient version of Adobe Acrobat Pro. Specifically I need to take a PDF generated by a word processor or publishing program and process it into a PDF/X-3 document. Adobe calls this process pre-flight. Anyway I hope that some day a version of FlexiPDF will support this process. I understand that this process and format is fairly common in the publishing industry.

PDF/X-3 is supported in FlexiPDF for opening the documents but currently, we don't support this format for saving the documents.
