Problems after upgrading to Windows 10 may 2020 update.
Hi!
I have recently updated to the Windows 10 may 2020 update and after that I have problem using FlexiPDF 2019 Professional. It worked perfectly before the upgrade. I have tried uninstalling and installing FlexiPDF but to no avail.
FlexiPDF version 2.0.7
Windows 10 Pro (2004) build 19041
Problem 1, saving documents.
1. Open any PDF-file.
2. Try to save it using File -> Save As
3. The error message 'Missing key' /CleanUp Missing from dictionary
4. This problem has previous been reported here https://forum.softmaker.de/viewtopic.php?t=25037 Problem 2, processing scanned document:
1. Click File -> New -> Import from scanner
2. Start the scan.
3. FlexiPDF processes the scan
4. The error message 'System error' Svr_SaveToFile 70000003 is shown and no scanned pages appear in FlexiPDF.
5. This problem has previous been reported here https://forum.softmaker.de/viewtopic.php?t=25631

Re: Problems after upgrading to Windows 10 may 2020 update.
1. The issue is already under analysis
2. I reported the issue to the developers... However this kind of issue is hard to fix, as we can't reproduce them, so I usually recommend adding a middle-man software such as VueScan as an intermediary between FlexiPDF and your scanner driver.

I have found another problem and also a possible clue to what is wrong:
When trying to run "Recognize text (OCR)..." on a document I get the following error.
Notice how the path have a chinese letter instead of the "ä" in my user name "Gustav Näslund". Could there be something wrong with how FlexiPDF treats these kinds of letters in paths?

Re: Problems after upgrading to Windows 10 may 2020 update.
I tried creating a new temporary useraccount on my computer with a username consisting no Swedish letter. When I run FlexiPDF from that account everything works again! So there is probably something fishy with how FlexiPDF decode/encode the path to the appdata folder...
Re: Problems after upgrading to Windows 10 may 2020 update.
Have you looked into the problem described here? FlexiPDF is unusable for me with this bug.

Meanwhile, you can rename your existing username and remove the Swedish letter as you mentioned as a workaround or temporary solution.

Re: Problems after upgrading to Windows 10 may 2020 update.
Hello,
I seem to have the exact same issue with FlexiPDF 2019 (german locale) after Win10-2004 Upgrade. I, too, have a german Umlaut ('ö') in my name and therefore also in my user profile folder name. I get the same error when trying to save changes made to a PDF file and also when running OCR as our swedish friend has reported.
Erasing the AppData for FlexiPDF and reinstalling from fresh installer .exe did not help either.
Please look into fixing this issue, without saving changes, the software is useless.
Thanks,
Björn
