Quit on document close?

Post by captainping » Wed Dec 30, 2020 8:46 pm

Hi,

I'm new to FreeOffice. I just tried opening a .docx document in TextMaker. Looks good! Thought I'd open another so I closed the document, intending to go to the File menu for the "Open.." item, and.... TextMaker quit.

Is this intended? Normally, when you close the last document in an OSX app, the app stays running so you can open another. This is what I'd expect of TextMaker. Is this a bug or is this the way TextMaker is designed?

I know it seems like a small thing, but if TextMaker is un-OSXy in this way, how else will it be un-OSXy?

Thanks,
Christopher

Does that happen once only, or it's always happening to you?
