[Solved] Move SoftMaker folder from my home directory

Post by Romrom54 » Wed Jul 15, 2020 4:22 pm

Hi all,

I hope that you are all doing well in this quite special time.

I have a little question. Is there a way to move - without breaking everything - the SoftMaker folder from my home directory for another directory? Is there an option (somewhere in the suite) where I can change/adjust that?
If I move it on my own, with a move command or a copy/cut and paste, will the suite ask me where is the folder and then I'll be able to tell it?

Thanks for your help :) ,

No, this needs to stay at this position.

I think this is a needed feature. At the very least the SoftMaker team could have the SoftMaker folder as a dot folder
like this

/home/username/.SoftMaker/

That would at the very least hide it from the user directory in Linux anyway.
