Cell properties settings not saved

Post by Léon » Mon Apr 12, 2021 9:44 am

A cell with an extremely simple formula (=B2-B1) changes from Number (also very simple) to Custom after every closing of the worksheet. Custom then says 0.0;[Red]/0.0.

This happens when I choose the option "Negative values in red".

When I open the worksheet it does not just say -2,5 in red, but /0.0. (In red).

What is this and how do I solve it? Or: what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for sharing the file. Please follow these steps to resolve this problem:

1. Please right-click on Cell B6, click on option Cell....
2. Under Number format tab select Number.
3. On right side check/enable option "Negative numbers in red".
4. Click OK.
5. Save and re-open this file.

I have already tried and tested above steps.

Hello SuperTech,

What you describe is exactly the problem:

I did this (of course) 20 times and at the next opening of the document the cell is back to wrong. You could read this in the original question.

I was able to reproduce this problem when changed the interface language to Nederlands. I have forwarded the details to our developers team for further investigation.
