Basic stubling at Square Zero

Post by ChrisWesley » Wed Feb 05, 2020 1:12 pm

I want to see how to edit range names.
I've done it before, but I can't find it now.

So the help document says:
To assign a name to a range of cells:
1. Select the cell range that you want to name.
2. Choose the menu command Worksheet > Names > Edit.
3. Input a name for the cell range in the Name edit control.

- But where is the "Worksheet" it is referring to?????
I can see a menu bar with File, Home, Insert, Layout, etc.
But I cannot see a Worksheet menu item.

I'm braced for being proved incredibly dumb, but I need otget past this, so if that's what it takesa, I'll take, it.

Worksheet > Names > Edit is the menu structure of the classic menu.
At the end of the user manual, there's a list of correspondence between the classic menu and the ribbon of icons.

You are using the Ribbon of icons you can access it via Formula | Edit names
OR you can access via the hamburger classic menu:
