How can I change the highlight color of the text?

How can I change the highlight color of the text. As it is now I can't see wether text is highlighted or not

Hi, you may click the Highlight text icon on the Home ribbon.

Thank you but that is not what I meant. When you click and drag to select a word, sentence or a paragraph it becomes highlighted. Depending of the template you're using it's either yellow or blue but very bright. It's impossible for me to see what I marked. Is there a way to change the color and/or intensity?

Oh, I see. If you can't see it, it's probably a sign that your screen is not calibrated.
Textmaker doesn't allow to change the text selection color.

I would advise you to try to lower your screen brightness or to buy a screen calibrator, such as
