Changing the default font for all documents

Post by mike21 » Fri Aug 03, 2018 9:10 pm

How do I edit the "normal" template to change things such as font size, and where is the template stored. I cannot find itunder Help or Options

Hello!

You should find folder C:\Users\<User Profile>\Documents\SoftMaker\Templates 2018\<Your Language>.
Then open template file Normal.tmvx in TextMaker and edit Styles for which you need to use another formatting.

P.S. Default font for all new documents you can set also as shown in the screenshot attached here.

Thank you for your reply, I have only just been able to get online again and see your response.

When I click on normal.tmvx in the path you give it opens as "untitled 1" not as normal.tmvx - I have also failed with the second method in that I cannot bring up the screen you illustrate headed Attachments - it does not appear in any of the sub-menus. Under the normal.tmvx properties I have full permissions - file size is 7.75 kb

You should open template file Normal.tmvx in TextMaker through File>Open dialogue and then make changes.
