Uninstall not working properly

Post by elovkoff »

Hi guys, I'm testing Office alternatives and FreeOffice is one of them.
I have uninstalled it for now to test other options but it doesn't seem to be uninstalled properly.
After the uninstall has been completed, I see this:

Windows context explorer menu still has these entries.

How do I completely remove FreeOffice? How do I make sure there are no other traces left?

Thank you.

It was a pretty simple question and I was hoping Softmaker guys would resolve it ina jiffy.
But 5 days have gone by, I'm left with a windows problem because of it and no reply. It clearly takes the softmaker paid version off the map for me.

It seems there is some operating system level problem happened during uninstallation. To resolve this, you can use a free third party tool(e.g. ShellMenuView) to remove these window's context menu, or you can edit registry also.

Please refer to any windows troubleshooting article like this for correction on registry level.

I have also forwarded the details to our developers team for further investigation.

Thank you, it rather seems as an uninstall issue that does not remove the entries properly

Thank you for forwarding it to engineers, much appreciated.

ShellMenu app works as a workaround, thank you for pointing it out.
