Hiding Backup Files

Post by Fabled Pilgrim » Mon Mar 29, 2021 2:26 pm

As the title suggests, I would like to be able to have the backup facility without the *.bak files showing in the same folder as the *.doc file. If I have 20 documents in a folder it becomes 40 as each one has it's own *.bak file with duplicate filename.

It's not the end of the world but it would be nice if there was a way to hide them to make it easier to locate files I need.

Any suggestions?

I moved this to the FreeOffice forum since you are talking about FreeOffice.

This is not feasible in FreeOffice but in commercial version SoftMaker Office 2021, we can set folder path for the file versions for backup.
