How to move the left vertical and top horizontal boundary lines of a table

Post by Yash Pal » Fri Nov 22, 2019 5:51 pm

In a table, I cannot move the leftmost vertical line and the topmost horizontal line ie the left and top boundaries of the table, but I can move all other boundary lines of rows and columns. Is there a way to move the horizontal and vertical boundary lines, to be able to move the table to any desired position. The cursor takes the shape of an arrow and not 2 vertical/ horizontal lines with arrowheads on each side.

I attach a normal page with a table and in which I have indicated the boundary lines which cannot be moved. (Just moved from LibreOffice to SoftMaker)

Hi, it's that way by design.
However, you can move the table by right-clicking it > Properties > Table > Wrapping > Surrounding.
