Linux by default

Post by vikingson » Sat Apr 27, 2019 4:59 pm

Have you guys considered offering Freeoffice to Linux distros? I'm thinking about repositories or PPA's to make Freeoffice more readily available. I'm not sure if your software is open source or not. But So few people seem to be aware of your software in Linux, and there ought to be a way to make it more readily available to Linux distributions. Having it as the default office software in even a few Linux distributions would be awesome.

Awesome :D
If you make a way to do this please let me know. I can think of one Linux distribution that would likely add this to their personal repository.

The MX Linux Dev Team are discussing their available options to add Freeoffice and should contact you shortly to see what can be worked out with you to enable it in their software installer. The leader is Jerry and you should hear from him very soon.
Thanks again for interest in doing this. Will be greater exposure for Freeoffice as MX Linux is at the top of Distrowatch's chart of Linux distributions, and good for MX Linux users as well :)
