Cell Selection Frustration

Post by Wondering »

I'm sort of new to the MacWorld. When using PlanMaker for Windows, I used to be able to easily select multiple cells and paste into or deleting them. Now using PlanMaker for Mac on a MacBook Pro, when I select the first cell a tiny rectangular box appears in the cell and cuts it for movement elsewhere. It's annoying in the extreme, because all I want to do is select several cells. I do not want to cut and move just one cell. Also, after having to fool around with selection for a bit before finally being able to actually select several cells and hope to past the same date into all of them, it occurs that only one of the several selected cells gets the date. The rest of the selected cells stay blank. What am I missing? I've searched endlessly for a setting, but've come up dry. Help!

To select multiple non-contiguous multiple cells press the option key while left-clicking the cells.
