Since I detected it I was not sure if this is a bug or a feature. As it serves me well, I tend to thank SoftMaker that they do not insist on the usual structure of an OOXML document for tmdx or docx, meaning:
You can zip together the xml files that you need and can omit all those that you do not need, manifest and _rels inclusive. TextMaker will still be able to open this file, meaning a true facilitation.
While the same is anyway true for OpenDocument, here, you have to remove useless white-space first, as otherwise TextMaker destroys your document.
