Input lag and scroll lag

Post by JosephDodson » Mon Jul 30, 2018 3:29 am

Hi,
I'm running TextMaker Trial 2018 (rev 933.0619) 64 bit on Arch Linux and the following issues occur:
  1. Whenever I type a word, the word is displayed only after I finish typing the word. There is no real-time display of what I'm typing.
  2. Scrolling is jagged.
These issues exist only in SoftMaker Office and other applications on my system work as expected.
I've tried turning off spell-check and grammar correction but that does not seem to solve this issue.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Please try disabling OpenGL in the Options (under the System tab). Does it help?

It makes it slightly better. But there's still a visible lag — not as bad as before but still present.
Anything else I could try?
I'd be more than glad to furnish any logs you need.

You could send us your sminfo.txt (look in Help=>About) to forum (at) softmaker.com.

Same problem ocuur on my machine. I'm using OpenSUSE Tumbleweed and TextMaker Professional 2018 (Revision: 942).
Disabling OpenGL change any thing.

Any solution for this bug? Should I send sminfo.txt to forum (at) softmaker.com?
