Locking Up on Scrolling With Multiple Windows

Post by Alan Cone » Mon Apr 02, 2018 5:11 pm

If I have two or more documents (file type does not appear relevant) opened in TextMaker 2018 in individual windows and I attempt to scroll on one of them, all TextMaker windows will freeze for maybe 30 seconds before the scrolling in the one window finally happens and then I can interact with controls or the document again. This may only happen once per opened and scrolled document.

I tried to reproduce this issue in openSuse Leap 42.3 64bit but there is no delay when I scroll in any of the open documents (opened in different program instances of TextMaker).

Which Linux and TextMaker revision (Help=>About) are you using? Does it happen with all files (even new created ones)? Do the files contain a lot of graphics?

This happens on TextMaker 2018 rev 928.0313 64bit on Debian 9.4 64bit. It does not seem to matter if it is a new file or how much text/graphics there are.
