Repo update issue

Post by sidhymes@gmail.com »

Hello,

I've been receiving the the following message when attempting to update the suite: "cannot update repo 'SoftMaker_Office_Repository': repomd.xml GPG signature verification error: Bad GPG signature". This started about 10 days or so ago. I'm using Fedora 30 x64.

I'm not clear if just downloading another version of the public key will solve the issue and I haven't found anything online addressing it. Suggestions/recommendations?

Thanks.

You did not say much about how you set up your package management system. In consequence, and even if you know it already, I recommend the section about Fedora on the “Tips and tricks” - page, set up by SoftMaker: https://www.softmaker.com/en/tips-linux. The part about updating the public key presents the command

Code: Select all

sudo rpm --import linux-repo-public.key
, which you do know already or not...
The key, you get from https://shop.softmaker.com/repo/linux-repo-public.key

In case that these explanations do not help you, come back again.
