A FreeOffice Flatpak?

Post by re:fi.64 » Thu Sep 27, 2018 1:02 am

Flatpak is an application distribution platform for Linux that has been embraced by GNOME, KDE, LibreOffice, and many other projects (as well as the primary way to install apps on Fedora Silverblue). I'd happily make on unofficial Flatpak (it supports a feature known as extra-data that allows applications whose license doesn't allow redistribution to be downloaded on the client side instead), but there's still the matter of the email requirement on the official downloads. I notice other threads basically ended with you'll get an email from our marketing team, which is why I wanted to ask here first. :D

That would be really handy!!!
For the users and for the devs as well since they only have to test one platform for Linux.
