"This File Format is Not Supported"

Post by JurassicPuck »

This happens a lot to me and I still am unsure why but usually I have a backup save that I can open which means I lost a bit of work depending were it last saved but no big problem. The problem is that now my backup save is corrupted as well and now I have lost everything which is ridiculous. Anyway I can get this file back or fixed??

You may rename the .bak extension to the original's fine extension (.pmdx, .xlsx., etc...).
You can also send us the damaged file to forum(at)softmaker.de (mention topic 19636 or include the URL of this page)

If you use the default backup settings in SoftMaker Office 2018, you have up to nine backup files in your Documents\SoftMaker\Backup folder. Are none of them opening?
