Toolbar - adding functions

I'm trying out SoftMaker Office as an alternative to my ageing Office 2007.

Is there a way to add functions to the toolbar below the ribbons? In Office I have this loaded with my often used items, such as Format Painter; Pivot Table, and so on.

Do you mean the quick access toolbar below the ribbons? Right mouse click on the ribbon, then select "Customise quick access toolbar..." from the context menu.
