Need to update system registry

All programs in my Softmaker office when opened present a dialog box stating the program needs to update the system registry.
When I allow this the program opens, but this message comes up each time a program is opened.

Is there a fix available?

Could you please right-click the TextMaker icon, then select "run as Administrator"?
This could solve the issue.

Dear customer,

Please try to completely uninstall SoftMaker Office and then install it back again:

1. Find and uninstall SoftMaker Office in the software list in the Windows control panel

​2. Check if there are remaining SoftMaker Office folders and delete them:
C:\Program Files\SoftMaker Office 2018
C:\Program Files (x86)\SoftMaker Office 2018
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Roaming\SoftMaker
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Softmaker
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Softmaker

3. Delete the folder "SoftMaker" under "My Documents" in your Windows (that will delete the personal settings)

*Please note that "AppData" is a hidden folder.

4. Restart your computer

5. Go to https://www.softmaker.com/en/downloads and download our latest version and then install it.

Thanks, I have uninstalled Softmaker Office 2018 and reinstalled it, the problem appears to be gone.

was about to post this, which made me worry because previously it never asked for a system registry change?
So the registry was not necessary at all? I was lucky I had my Comodo Firewall blocked all the changes Softmaker Office tried to make.

For me, just select "No" when the registry editor ask permission.
Then the program will continue open without issue.
