programs won't run resource file has wrong revision number

I have a paid version of the softMaker office 2018 for windows a few months old. I had a program and reinstalled but now the programs won't open because it says the resource file have a wrong revision number and to install the new service pack. But I can't do it because the program won't open

Please advise

I decided to uninstall the software and reinstall the software and then I was able update the new service pack

Possibly this happened because we released the service pack immediately after Microsoft's Patch Tuesday. Windows installs updates and reboots one or more times while ignoring that our service pack installer was running. This left you with a half-updated SoftMaker Office.

We made the service pack installer more robust against such rude operating-system behavior.
