Password protected document - File format not supported

I cannot open a password protected file with an error message saying: File format not supported.
The issue got elevated when I tried to open the same file using other Office suites, the file managed to open however I cannot input a password so the opened file only show a scrambled text of encrypted content.

Additional info: I created the password using Softmaker.

Please fix the issue ASAP!

Hi Sven,

Just an update of the issue.
What I did was revert back the file to a previous version, which works perfectly fine.
So I don't know what's wrong with the that particular file version and due to the nature of the content, I cannot send the file to your team.

I managed to get a workaround however the real issue has not been solved.
