FlexiPDF with Wine in Linux

Post by smuser8 » Mon Jan 15, 2018 8:48 am

Considering Office Windows version can install and run in Linux under Wine smoothly, has anyone successfully run FlexiPDF in the same manner? Any tip to do so?
I can install but the program just doesn't start.

Thank you.

I’ve just installed the latest version under Wine on Arch and I haven’t encountered any issue whatsoever. The printer doesn’t get installed (complains about missing services), but I haven’t bothered about it, since turning documents into pdfs is not really an issue in Linux. Other than that, it handled everything I threw at it flawlessly. I used PlayOnLinux, since I wanted to keep my Wine prefixes separate, the system version of Wine (3.13 as we speak), made a 64-bit prefix and made sure that the Windows version was set to 7. That was all.
