Crash on startup

Post by Pädda » Sat Jan 13, 2018 4:27 am

I tried to test FreeOffice 2016 (64 bit rpm) on openSUSE Tumbleweed. The computer freezes on starting any of the programs - doesn't even open a window. Curiously, the Scroll Lock LED is blinking, nothing else moves, and after a minute or so the computer reboots.

On the first start, I got as far as entering the registration key, but after that, same problem. After entering the key, the window title changes to "Unbenannt 1 - Planmaker" and a secondary window "Benutzer (privat)" opens. Both windows stay empty, scroll lock blinks, and after a minute the computer reboots.

No kernel messages are being logged at all during all of this.

Any ideas what to do?

Does the issue still happen after a re-installation of FreeOffice?
